All of our instruments feature a non-transferable limited 1 year warranty to the original owner; please review the terms of our warranty as listed below.

Newport Player Guitars warrants this guitar to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the limitations contained herein.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXTENDED TO THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER ONLY AND MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED OR ASSIGNED TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS. IN ORDER TO VALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY, AND AS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO WARRANTY COVERAGE HEREUNDER, YOU MUST REGISTER AS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OR OWNER VIA THE NEWPORT PLAYER GUITARS WEBSITE CONTACT PAGE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE.  

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

(a) Any instrument on which the serial number has been removed or altered.
(b) Any instrument which has not been registered via the Newport Player Guitars website within 30 days of purchase.
(c) Any instrument that has been damaged due to an accident, negligence, alteration or misuse.
(d) Any instrument with unauthorized or improperly performed repairs, alterations or modifications.
(e) Shipping damage of any kind.
(f) Normal “wear and tear”, including but not limited to any discoloration, fading or damage to the original finish, or worn frets, strings, tuners, hardware and plating.
(g) Any instrument that has been subjected to extremes of humidity and temperature.
(h) Any non-factory-installed electrical/electronic components, tuning hardware or other components.

NEWPORT PLAYER GUITARS MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEEDING THE SPECIFIC PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY. SOME STATES AND/OR COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO THAT THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

NEWPORT PLAYER GUITARS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OR PROFITS OR BUSINESS OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE INSTRUMENT, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, EVEN IF NEWPORT PLAYER GUITARS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND NEWPORT PLAYER GUITARS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY EXPENSES, CLAIMS OR SUITS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY OF THE FOREGOING.

All shipping and insurance are the sole responsibility of the original purchaser.

If the repair is covered under the terms of the warranty, it will be repaired at no cost to the original purchaser including return shipping. If the repair is not covered under warranty, an estimate of the cost of the repair to the original purchaser will be given.

The above warranty policy only applies to customers in USA. If you are an international customer, we can handle warranty matters direct but you will be responsible for shipping both ways.

REFUND/RETURN POLICY

If you are not happy with your guitar, please feel free to contact us. We offer you a refund within 7 days after you have received your guitar or other product, excluding shipping charges. To return merchandise, you need to contact us for a return authorization. We will need to inspect the returned merchandise to determine that it is in the original condition as it was shipped from our facility. Once the merchandise is received in the original condition at our facility, you will be issued a refund or, if you wish, you can apply your payment to other merchandise you may wish to purchase or order.

ABUSE OF RETURN PRIVILEGES

Our return policies are in place to make sure our customers never get stuck with a guitar that they don’t absolutely love. Those who violate the spirit of our return policy by having excessive returns may be subject to limitations or suspension of their return privileges, at our discretion.
